Q. What is D’Youville Giving Day?

D’Youville Giving Day is a 24-hour online giving campaign to bring together the entire D’Youville community – alumni, students, faculty, staff and friends – to support the university through their philanthropic support and show their D’Youville pride.


Q. When is D’Youville Giving Day?

D’Youville Giving Day is on March 30, 2022, from midnight to 11:59 p.m.


Q. How can I make a gift?

The quickest and easiest way to make a gift is to go to givingday.dyouville.edu, our secure donation site, to make your gift online. You can also make a gift by mail before March 30 using the self-mailer we sent to all alumni in March. Gifts can be mailed to Institutional Advancement, 320 Porter Ave., Buffalo, NY 14201.


Q. How will my gift be used?

We encourage gifts to our unrestricted annual fund, the Fund for D’Youville, because these gifts provide us with the most flexibility to address the greatest needs, including financial aid, scholarships, and departmental support. However, there will be options online to make a gift to your school, department, or other areas at the university.


Q. Is there a minimum gift amount?

No gift is too small, but we do ask for a minimum gift of $5 if you are giving though our online portal.


Q. Is my gift tax-deductible?

Yes, your gift is entirely tax-deductible. You will receive a gift receipt for tax purposes.


Q. What if I already made a gift to D’Youville this year?

Thank you! We greatly appreciate your commitment to D’Youville. We hope you will consider making an additional gift on Giving Day to help us meet the goal for our campaign.
